MIDNIGHT BLUE:
IS AN AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL PIECE THAT CHRONICLES THE LOSS OF LOVE, FROM MY FAMILY, THE DISAPPEARANCE OF MY WIFE, THE LOSS OF MY HOME, BUSINESS, FREEDOM, AND DIGNITY -- AS THE RESULT OF ATTEMPTING TO WRESTLE WITH A DEMON TOO BIG FOR ME TO HANDLE.

A Little Sample Of the Work...,
|
IT was probably a couple hundred thousand years ago my darling,
on a night very much like tonight -- maybe a little cooler, maybe a little crisper -- very likely, the evening sky was clearer, when some early sentient being, walked out on this high plateau, and noticed the evening sky was not so completely black tonight.
There were a larger number of pin pricks of light permeating the heavens.
This being didn't understand stars or clouds -- it didn't understand that the Universe had elements beyond that which it was capable of interacting with, and it wasn't sure how good its memory was -- but, it was certain that there was a change in the sky...,
AND AT THAT MOMENT...,
A realization was born, that the Universe was many magnitudes more vast and had a complexity derived from components, and as had been the case, and as most likely be the case in the future -- when a sentient being made mental progress -- it assumed it self to have a more grand relationship, to a more grand Universe, and that even those questions which occured to it without answers would be categorized and attributed to a set of things which would eventually be referred to and defined as GOD.

This piece was originally a family project by David Klein-Stoller;
His wife,
Laura Boyd, and his step daughter,
Ms. Heidi Schroeter.
During part of the work -- all three of us lived on campus at Lindenwood University in St. Charles Mo.
We took several courses in which two or all three of us attended together; we were proud to be known as;
The COMMITTEE.
